Germany and Israel are announcing a Call for Proposals for joint R&D projects, focusing on developing innovative solutions and applications in cyber security and civil security.
The Federal Ministry of Education and Research of the Federal Republic of Germany (BMBF) and the National Technological Innovation Authority of the State of Israel (NATI) represented by the Israel-Europe R&I Directorate (ISERD) intend to fund bilateral research projects in the aforementioned fields.
The funding measure will support innovative solutions with high market potential that serve to protect the population, companies and government establishments. Project proposals must be aimed exclusively at civil application scenarios. Within this framework, qualified applicants may receive R&D grants from the BMBF or NATI in accordance with the applicable national procedures and terms and conditions for funding.
Cooperation between partners from both countries is a requirement for funding under this announcement. German and Israeli companies are expected to work together with German and Israeli research institutions and end users in the field of civil security research or IT security
