The "Polymer Optical Fibers for data centers" project by Mellanox of Yokneam, Israel and Chromus Fiberoptics of Warren, NJ, USA was approved at the recent meeting of the Board of Governors of the Israel-U.S. Binational Industrial Research and Development (BIRD) Foundation. this was one of nine projects that will receive a total of $7.5 million in grants.
