According to Reuters, Mellanox recently worked with ASAL Technologies to hire four programmers from Gaza and hopes to hire another six over the next six months. Mellanox has been very successful in integrating both Jewish and Arab Israelis in the workplace, where Arabs make up roughly 10% of its workforce in Israel and it also has Palestinians programmers living in Ramallah and Nablus.
According to the article, Mellanox's CEO Eyal Waldman, thinks thatobstacles like the travel ban can be overcome through a number of methods like audio and video conferencing.
